HOW TO REACH THE GREEN CAVE ENTRANCE
BY SHUTTLE SERVICE – the most convenient, safe, and recommended way to reach the Green Cave.
Parking is not allowed along the final stretch of the provincial road leading to the caves. If you plan to visit Neptune’s Cave or the Green Cave, please do not park along the roadway but use the designated parking area.

• Tramariglio / Casa Gioiosa Parking, headquarters of the Porto Conte Regional Natural Park, free for Ecomuseum visitors.
From the parking area, a continuous round-trip shuttle service will take you directly to the cave entrance.

How it works:
• Terminal: “Tramariglio – Casa Gioiosa”
• Shuttle cost: €5 round trip (children 0–3 free)
• Tickets: available on board

The cave can also be reached from Alghero via the following bus lines:

Musica, natura e gusto si incontrano ancora una volta nel nostro #EcoMuseo!

✨🎶🌿 Una nuova esperienza da vivere nel territorio protetto del #ParcodiPortoConte, in programma per il 14 Settembre: un appuntamento che coniuga il piacere della pratica sportiva del nordicwalking e del walking attivo all’aria aperta, con il relax del contatto con la natura e della musica e con il gusto dei nostri prodotti locali.
L’evento inizierà con una suggestiva passeggiata guidata all’interno della foresta demaniale di #PuntaGiglio, per esplorare i percorsi naturalistici e le affascinanti aree delle ex mitragliere, camminando lungo il sentiero panoramico che conduce al #MAPS.

🌅🎻 Ma la vera sorpresa arriverà al tramonto: al termine della camminata, il maestro Mauro Scassellati ci regalerà un emozionante concerto per violino, con un repertorio di 14 brani pensati per accompagnare questo incredibile scenario naturale!

🍴🥂 A completare l’esperienza un momento dedicato alla degustazione dei prodotti certificati con il Marchio di Qualità della Rete dei Parchi e delle Aree protette: un omaggio alla qualità e alla genuinità dei sapori del nostro territorio. con la degustazione delle focacce preparate con le farine della filiera del Parco di Porto Conte, farcite con una selezione di salumi, verdure e ortaggi provenienti dalle Aziende del Parco! Dopo il grande successo riscosso nelle ultime edizioni, Il Museo della Memoria Carceraria di #CasaGioiosa farà nuovamente da cornice a questo apprezzatissimo evento!

Gli attori della La Volpe Bianca – Centro Xylo rievocheranno la storia della Colonia Penale Agricola di Tramariglio e dei suoi protagonisti, con una suggestiva performance.

Appuntamento a Sabato 6 e Domenica 7 Settembre alle ore 20 (apertura biglietteria alle 19.30) – massimo 20 partecipanti. Museo della Memoria Carceraria “G. Tomasiello”

Casa Gioiosa è il palcoscenico dove viene evocata la storia del carcere chiuso negli anni sessanta.
Qui attori e pubblico sono invitati a compiere insieme un viaggio intuitivo tra le celle, incontrando diversi personaggi, ognuno prigioniero eppure a modo suo libero dentro il proprio sogno.
Lo spettatore è coinvolto nel tessuto di storie che prendono vita nel percorso itinerante all’interno del museo della colonia penale.

Le emozioni vibrano nell’aria, nei muri e in ciascun oggetto rimasto sospeso nel tempo.
Gli attori riscoprono ciò che pareva ricoperto dall’oblio, dando nuova vita e onorando chi realmente ha popolato quegli spazi con i propri vissuti.

Un viaggio tra arte, ecologia e immaginazione per nutrire la meraviglia e il senso di appartenenza al mondo naturale.

Nel silenzio del bosco, dove le fronde sussurrano antiche storie e il vento accarezza la terra, si cela un mondo invisibile agli occhi distratti: un piccolo universo abitato da creature leggere, spiriti curiosi e custodi verdi.

In questa giornata speciale, i bambini saranno invitati a diventare esploratori, costruttori e narratori, entrando in punta di piedi nel regno segreto della natura. Guidati dall’immaginazione e dal rispetto, daranno vita a un villaggio incantato, costruito con ciò che il bosco generosamente offrirà: rami intrecciati, pietre levigate, muschio soffice, foglie danzanti.

Casette tra le radici, ponticelli sopra i sassi, sentieri che raccontano storie… ogni costruzione sarà un gesto di cura e creatività, un atto poetico per entrare in relazione con il paesaggio e ascoltarne la voce.

COME RAGGIUNGERE L’INGRESSO DELLA GROTTA VERDE?

Nell’ultimo tratto della strada provinciale che conduce alle Grotte (Verde e Nettuno) NON E’ CONSENTITA LA SOSTA DEI VEICOLI.

Se intendete visitare la Grotta Verde o la Grotta di Nettuno, vi invitiamo a non parcheggiare lungo la carreggiata della strada provinciale ma ad utilizzare il parcheggio dedicato di Tramariglio / Casa Gioiosa.

IL MODO PIÙ COMODO, SICURO E RACCOMANDATO per raggiungere la Grotta Verde e la Grotta di Nettuno è quello di UTILIZZARE IL SERVIZIO NAVETTA.

ATTENZIONE: Il Servizio Navetta sarà attivo a partire dalla seconda metà del mese di Maggio 2026 con partenza dal parcheggio di Tramariglio / Casa Gioiosa.

VALIDITY AND WHERE TO BUY
The Full Ecomuseum pass is valid for one month and can be purchased online, via the Ecomuseum App, and at all Ecomuseum ticket offices.

Note: If you already hold a valid Ecomuseum ticket or Alghero Ticket, you can purchase an add-on ticket at the Park ticket offices for entry to the Grotta Verde only.

HOW TO REACH THE ENTRANCE OF THE GROTTA VERDE?
Parking is NOT ALLOWED along the final stretch of the provincial road leading to the Grotta Verde and Grotta di Nettuno.

If you plan to visit either cave, please do not park along the roadside. Instead, use the dedicated parking area at Tramariglio / Casa Gioiosa.

The MOST CONVENIENT, SAFE, AND RECOMMENDED way to reach the Grotta Verde and Grotta di Nettuno is to USE THE SHUTTLE SERVICE.

WARNING: The shuttle service will be active from the second half of May 2026, departing from the Tramariglio / Casa Gioiosa parking area.

The Tramariglio / Casa Gioiosa parking (headquarters of the Porto Conte Regional Natural Park) is free for Ecomuseum customers, Alghero Ticket holders, and visitors to the Grotta di Nettuno (with reservation).

WARNING: Currently (pending activation of the SHUTTLE SERVICE), to reach the cave entrance it is recommended to:

Be dropped off by car
Use the Tramariglio / Casa Gioiosa parking area
Use available public transport as follows:

Alghero – Beach Bus – Cattogno – Grotte Line:
– Outbound: stop at Casa Gioiosa at 09:47, 12:17, 15:17
– Return: stop at Grotte square at 09:55, 12:30, 15:30, 18:00

– Outbound: stop at Casa Gioiosa at 09:54, 17:49 (from June 1st: 15:49)
