NEW PARKING AREA & SHUTTLE SERVICE NOW AVAILABLE
NOTICE!
📣 Capo Caccia Is Now More Accessible, Safer, and More Sustainable!
A shuttle service is now operating from the Tramariglio / Casa Gioiosa parking area.
Please note: the La Stalla parking area will NOT be open during the 2026 season.
If you are planning to visit the Green Cave (Grotta Verde) or Neptune’s Cave (Grotta di Nettuno), we kindly ask you not to park along the provincial road. Instead, please use the dedicated Tramariglio / Casa Gioiosa parking area.
The easiest, safest, and recommended way to reach both the Green Cave and Neptune’s Cave is by using the shuttle service.
During this trial period, while the final timetable is being finalized, shuttle buses depart from Tramariglio every hour at :10 and :25, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Return services operate from 10:15 AM until 7:50 PM.
🎫 Shuttle Fares (Round Trip)
- Adults: €5.00
- Family fare: €10.00 (2 adults with accompanying children under 18)
- Children (4–14 years): €3.00
- Children (0–3 years): Free of charge
🅿️ Parking
Until further notice, parking is free for:
- Visitors to the Ecomuseum
- Holders of an Alghero Ticket
- Visitors to Neptune’s Cave with a valid reservation
In addition, parking is free for the first four hours, allowing visitors to leave their vehicles and comfortably reach the area’s main attractions using the shuttle service.
This initiative has been designed to make access to the Green Cave, Neptune’s Cave, and the outstanding natural attractions of the Capo Caccia headland easier and more convenient.
As part of a pilot project, visitor flows, service performance, strengths, and any operational issues will be carefully monitored over the coming months. The information collected will help develop a comprehensive long-term strategy for managing mobility and visitor access throughout the Capo Caccia area.
✅ Our goal is to create a sustainable model that successfully combines environmental protection, high-quality visitor services, and the enhancement of one of Sardinia’s most extraordinary natural heritage sites.
The La Stalla parking area is NOT OPEN for the 2026 season.
